Microsoft has already confirmed it will host a digital event in light of E3 2020’s cancellation, but it seems all of its planned events from now until July 2021 will be digital-only. That’s the plan at present, but the company said it will “continue to evaluate the situation” and look forward to “connecting in person when the situation allows.” The news was confirmed via an announcement regarding its next MVP Summit which is currently scheduled for March 28 - April 2, 2021 (thanks, ZDNet). And if it plans to stay digital-only through July 2021, that means it could skip E3 next year as well, which has been scheduled for June 15-17, 2021. At present, Microsoft has yet to announce what it has planned in lieu of E3 2020 which was set to take place in June.
