Having recently announced that the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War beta has been extended by one day, developer Treyarch thought it would also be cool to save players some of the grind. All attachments for all of the beta’s weapons have been unlocked for all players. Provided you have the weapon itself unlocked, you can do ahead and experiment with different attachment combinations as you see fit while the beta is live. This is a welcome move, because one of the most common criticisms from players has been the slow rate at which weapon attachments unlock. Double XP, which went live at the start of the beta’s second weekend, will also continue through the end of the beta tomorrow. This, coupled with having all attachments pre-unlocked means you just need to grind enough for the weapons themselves. Treyarch also made a couple of stability fixes, and addressed a problem on PC where Activision friends were shown as offline despite being online.
