One of the main issues is with the Moonshiners content. Some players are reporting that their Moonshine Shack has disappeared and the game is prompting them to pay $250 of in-game currency to re-purchase it. Apparently the best approach here is to reload your game a few times until your shack returns, without paying the fee. You might have to jump between a few lobbies until it works. It’s also probably worth holding off doing any Moonshine sell missions, since these aren’t always paying out what they should be - in fact, some people are saying they’ve not been paid anything upon successful completion....

Australian-based PlaySide Studios has announced a deal with Metro Goldwyn Mayer Studios to develop a mobile game based on the classic Reese Witherspoon comedy Legally Blonde. The game will be free-to-play on iOS and Android mobile devices across the globe. The all-new game will combine puzzle and choice-based narrative mechanics with the “empowering themes and positive messages” of the Legally Blonde films, and allow players to live their very own Legally Blonde story....

The offer was made privately between the two companies, but PlayStation CEO Jim Ryan made his feelings on the matter known after Xbox head Phil Spencer discussed it publically. This is the latest in a cascade of events following Microsoft’s decision to acquire Activision Blizzard for $69 billion, which is currently pending regulator approvals. In a statement to GamesIndustry.biz, Ryan explained that Microsoft’s offer does not consider the impact on PlayStation players....

The Pokemon Company has announced it has some Pokemon Unite news for those looking forward to the game coming to Switch and mobile. According to the tweet, there will be an announcement made tomorrow, June 17, at 7am PT, 9am ET, 2pm UK. Maybe it will be a release date. The real-time, team-based battle game with cross-play capabilities will be free to start and was announced back in June 2020....

You can now quickly move to PUBG’s safe zone using balloons. In an update on the game’s website, developer PUBG Studio revealed the new Emergency Pickup item, which sees players hoisted up into the air by a balloon that is then hooked onto a plane passing overhead. PlayerUnknown’s BattleGrounds is hailed by many players as one of the games that kicked off the battle royale craze that’s dominated much of the current generation, but in some ways, the game lagged behind its competitors as time went on. Where titles like Fortnite and Call of Duty Warzone managed to weave a story and progressive narrative elements into the game over time, PUBG instead remained focussed on its match-to-match focus, eschewing lore and a persistent story for a long time....

Ubisoft recently kicked off a closed beta test for Rainbow Six Parasite/Quarantine. The invite-only test is NDA’d, meaning we shouldn’t see any gameplay out of it. But this rarely works as intended. As expected, someone who took part in the test had no problem sharing gameplay - over an hour’s worth - to Facebook Gaming, of all things. It was a good choice of platform, too, because unlike YouTube and Twitch, Facebook is a lot slower on the draw when it comes to pulling copyrighted material....

A modder by the name of Crazy Potato has introduced Animal Crossing’s Isabelle into the game, giving players the chance to control an Isabelle-headed Jill Valentine. As described on its Nexus page, the mod replaces Jill’s head with an Isabelle mask from Animal Crossing. The concept is simple, sure. But when put into practise it is the highest of art. As reported by PCGamesN, some pay-to-win accusations have been thrown at developer Respawn due to the introduction of weapon skins like the Heat Sink skin. According to some players, the Heat Sink skin has a vastly superior ADS compared to other guns’ skins. However, Respawn has since addressed the criticism, providing an update on said skin and more. “Competitive integrity is and will always be a core pillar for Apex Legends,” wrote Respawn in a blog post....

Developed by Awe Interactive and originally released last September on PC, the game is described as a fast and frenetic rhythm-based shooter with dungeon-based action.
