Since the release of Call of Duty: Warzone’s big Season 5 patch, one particular glitch has been responsible for confusing and frustrating the many players who ran into it. In short, there’s a graphical corruption bug that sometimes makes your target appear like a giant, glitchy black box. They can see and shoot you, but you don’t know where to aim because they’re surrounded by this black haze. Though developer Infinity Ward already rolled out one patch since the Season 5 update, it was only to make a few balance tweaks for some weapons like the FAL and Bruen....

After thirteen years with Treyarch, Jason Blundell is leaving the Call of Duty studio. In his statement posted to Twitter by Treyarch, Blundell didn’t comment on his future plans. That tidbit of info comes from the statement that the company has no big releases planned before RE4 Remake in March 2023. Since Street Fighter 6 is obviously counted among their big IP releases lined up for the future, we can determine that we’ll have to wait some time yet before their next premium fighting game lands in our hands. Nvidia has announced four publishers are taking titles off its game streaming service, GeForce Now. On April 24, games from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Xbox Game Studios, Codemasters and Klei Entertainment will be removed from the service, which is this Friday. Nvidia says it hopes the titles will return in the future. Over one million have signed up for the streaming platform, but as it moves to a paid service, some publishers may choose to remove games before the trial period ends, Nvidia previously stated....

Paradox Interactive’s highly-anticipated follow-up to Crusader Kings II hasn’t even been out for a month yet and already players are achieving some remarkable things. In a press release sent out by the developer, a list of absurd and impressive feats are listed. They range from genuinely quite impressive (40,591,268 children have been born in-game since its September 1 launch!) to, frankly, quite gruesome (18,212,157 successful murder schemes have been executed)....

Update: As expected, Cuphead developer Studio MDHR officially announced the release of the game’s PS4 version on Geoff Keighley’s show moments ago. Priced $20/£16, the PS4 version includes all content available on PC, Xbox One and Switch. All versions will be getting the game’s Delicious Last Course expansion later this year, though MDHR sadly didn’t offer an updated release date. Xbox players are also getting a free update soon that adds an in-game art gallery, and developer commentary with a look behind the scenes....

The anime series will debut on the streaming service in September. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is a joint project between CD Projekt and Netflix. While set in the game’s universe, the show features a different story and takes place in a separate period. Developed by Studio Trigger, the Japan-based animation company responsible for Little Witch Academia, the series has been in the works since 2020. Hiroyuki Imaishi (Gurren Lagann, Kill la Kill, Promare) directed the series along with assistant director Masahiko Otsuka (Gurren Lagann, Promare)....

Speaking on Twitter, the firm stated both games are being delayed based on recommendations supplied by the teams supervising development. Due to said recommendation, you can expect both games to arrive next year. Cyberpunk 2077 will be released sometime during the first quarter while The Witcher 3 will arrive at some point in the second quarter of 2022. The delay shouldn’t come as much of a surprise considering the studio stated back in September it couldn’t promise a 2021 release for either title....

Details have not yet been revealed regarding the price of the plushies, or whether they’ll be available online during and after Tokyo Game Show. What we do know, however, is that they’re quite charming, even if they are strange, small life forms used for replenishing blood. Going off the photos that Kojima shared, it appears the plushies will be available in two sizes. One of them being small enough to prop up on a shelf or cuddle to sleep, while the other is large enough to make the perfect cushion, as Kojima exhibits....

According to Collin Harris, a technical artist at Bluepoint, towards the start of Demon’s Souls PS5’s development there were plenty of rubber ducks placed around the grim and imposing world… and another massive duck towering over the play area, too. Harris told GamesRadar that the shipped version of the game had removed all these playful little development aids, but that they genuinely had a large impact on how the game was built....

That’s according to the game’s creative director Gavin Moore, who told The Washington Post, which says that the game will make use of the PlayStation 5’s new activities user interface to help players make their way through the infamously difficult title. Earlier in the year, a patent filing revealed that Sony was planning on showing users gameplay footage from other players in order to help them get through a section of the experience with the PS5....
